Fort Worth Dart Association

We are an amateur steel-tip darts league based in Fort Worth, Texas. We play three seasons per year starting in Jan, May, and Aug, and play is broken out into four leagues: Open, Mixed, Cricket, and Ladies.

Our Open league has three levels of play based on skill level, Masters, A, and B, with each team having between five and eight players. Masters and A matches are played on Wednesdays, B matches are played on Tuesdays, and matches start at 7:30 pm and typically last about 2 1/2 hours. The match format is five games of singles (best of three legs — 501, cricket, bull's choice) and seven legs of alternating 501 and cricket doubles. If the match ends with a 6-6 score, an additional leg of 501 is played to break the tie.

Our Mixed league is open to players of any skill level with each team having at least two men and two women and at most six total players. Matches are played at 7:30 pm on Thursdays and typically last about 2 1/2 hours. The match format starts with ten legs of alternating 501 and cricket doubles, of which six are mixed pairs (male & female), two are female pairs, and two are male pairs. The match finishes with a four-person leg of mixed 801.

Our Cricket league is open to players of any skill level with each team having two to three players. Matches are played at 7:30 pm on Mondays and typically last about 2 hours. The match format is nine games of cricket doubles.

Our Ladies league is open to females of any skill level with each team having two to three players. Matches are played at 7:30 pm on Mondays and typically last about 2 hours. The match format is seven games of alternating 501 and cricket doubles.
